Lafayette ='s Great Weekends
On Sunday, we invited my SIL's mother and a girl friend over for a cookout at our complex. His 2 children wanted to go swimming and cookout. We put our coolers at one of the 6 cabana's at the complex (Each cabana has a ceiling fan, lights, grill and a table for 8.) and hit the pool. After a couple of hours we went to the cabana and had a cookout (burgers, frankfurters,grilled corn, beans and chips). After lunch we waited the 30 minutes and then returned to the pool to finish off the day. The weather was perfect, spotty light clouds, nice breeze from the gulf, and about 88 degrees. Later we walked over to the lake and watched some neighbors fish. Lafayette has great weather, my complex has a great pool, cabanas and fishing lake so it made for a great way to enjoy Sunday with family.

SOunds like a great time, the copa cabanas sound really nice. GLad you waited the 30 minutes before swimming - those hot dogs will get ya. It sounds like you are enjoying Layfayette. I would take 88 degrees instead of this 100 degree heat wave, the boys are getting cabin fever! I love you.
